AppamanOur experience with Appaman began with the fun Number t-shirts as we knew they would be the perfect birthday gift. They flew off the shelves, of course. We confirmed that not only are they cute but also well made and durable so we keep adding more and more Appaman items each season. Appaman is the name of the corduroy ape who belonged to founder and designer Harold Husum as a child in Norway. Appaman reflects the unique Scandinavian perspective combined with American iconic imagery. Based in Brooklyn, NYC, they have an innovative sense of design that is both fashionable and function. We love Appaman’s use of bold colors and graphics for its boys and girls t-shirts, polos and jackets. Our customers report that the t-shirts quickly become a child’s favorite and can withstand the everyday wear and tear of childhood. We also have found that the boys corduroy pants to be a big hit. We look forward to Appaman’s new denim collection due to arrive in Fall 08.
